Open and elongate your muscles.

During a therapeutic massage session some stretching techniques may be applied.  It can help elongate the muscle releasing tension, lactic acid build-up and increase range of motion.  Through stretching we are helping to unwind the fascia that could be limiting flexibility and range of motion.  Stretching focuses on all connective tissue fibers.
