Acupuncture
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, fire cupping, gua-sha and Chinese Herbal Medicine is used to balance the flow of energy, also known as qi, that flows through pathways, known as meridians, in the body. TCM is a preventative medicine that can restore the body’s natural balance and promote healing.
Acupuncture has been used for over 3000 years in China to maintain overall wellness and to treat a variety of conditions. Today, acupuncture uses tiny needles that are inserted into specific points along the meridians of the body to re-balance the flow of energy and promote healing. Acupuncture is used to treat various conditions, including but not limited to insomnia, stress management, menstrual and hormonal imbalances, anxiety, depression, low energy, low libido, neck or back pain, sports-injuries, chronic pain, chemotherapy-induced and postoperative nausea and vomiting, fibromyalgia, headaches, migraines, osteoarthritis, PMS, menopause or perimenopause symptoms, respiratory disorders, elbow and shoulder pain.
